beginnings (for christian)

beginnings recaps the start of a love story

in the onset of the world in pandemic, christian and i began going on long, significant walking dates through the city. each animated line follows the paths of one of our first dates, with data taken from google maps' geospatial archive. three pieces of dialogue are sourced from our texts around plans.

the piece is set on an abstracted compass against what you can imagine as seattle.
