a short animation on uncertainty—i made this piece while my green card application was being processed. you can see the processing times here: egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/. processing times vary from 6mos to >10yrs based on many different legislative requirements, which inhumanely determine which immigrants are prioritized for processing based on the capital they offer to the American economy.
